Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2779B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, you hold the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” showing how much your health care will cost. The law says that health care providers must provide patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using their insurance for the services an estimate of the expected charges. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency services, including psychotherapy. You may ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule services with me.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

My Therapeutic Approach

As a therapist, I provide specialized services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I strive to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique strengths and areas of need, with an emphasis on utilizing areas of skill. I specialize in working with neurodiversity from an affirming perspective, which means that we will collaborate to determine what thriving looks like for you or your child.

My Intervention Style

My therapeutic interventions incorporate both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches. This integrative approach often involves delving into the underlying causes of issues while simultaneously providing practical skills and solutions to facilitate the reduction of distress. My therapeutic work is deeply relational, and I firmly believe that enduring change arises from fostering a sense of safety and understanding while engaging in effective, evidence-based treatment. My ultimate goal is to empower and collaborate with my clients, utilizing my clinical expertise in conjunction with their self-knowledge or that of their children.
